Joining in with Ginny again this week for the Yarn Along.
Here's a look at what I've been up to!
I finished Leo's Nasturtium bonnet and I absolutely love it! The trick now will be to keep it on his head!!
I made two little cloche hats with flowers. The purple one for a friend, to give as a gift and the yellow one is for my neighbour, whose baby girl, Louisa, was born on Good Friday. This hat pattern is from Little Crochet by Linda Permann and the flower is from Aesthetic Nest.
I finished the first pair of Cutie Patootie Pants. These are the 0-6 months size and are a gift for a friend. Now I will start on a bigger size for Leonardo.
I have made more progress on the TV Cosy, but it is so boring sewing the sqaures together and then sewing the ends in.... I really just want it finished though, as I know it will look great when it's done!
I knitted a simple headband for myself. I used the It's a Cinch pattern from Ravelry.
So all in all a pretty busy week for me and my hook!!
I still have few unfinished projects in the basket, so before I start anything new, I need to finish all these off....
Also, I forgot to mention a few weeks ago that when I was visiting my Aunt, I spied this wonderful knitted Nativity Set! She also had knitted some Topsy-Turvy Cinderella's for her grandaughters, but I forgot to take a picture!
As for books, I made a trip to the library this week and picked up some non-fictions to flick through.

What great projects--I can't even pick a favourite they are all so great. I know what you mean about sewing the blocks together--ugh! It will be worth it though. Love all the little hats, and your headband is great. I'll have to look that one up!
ReplyDeleteThe headband was so quick and easy...good for me in the beginning stages of learning to knit!

ReplyDeleteAwww I love the hat on the little man! So sweet! I love your headband too!
ReplyDeleteThe red hat is awesome! And the blanket is lovely. I just got a pile of non-fiction from the library yesterday. I am looking forward to rest time so I can sit uninterrupted and look through it all :-)

Oh, I absolutely love the bonnet! I am a bonnet fan. The nativity set is a really cool knit. Beautiful. Hop Skip Jump was one of my first favorite blogs, I need to check my library for the book.

The hats are adorable as well as the little pants. Baby items are always so fun to look at though! :)
ReplyDeleteThe photo of your child with the pacifier is adorable :) So precious!! Great knitting projects!
ReplyDeleteI love the pants. I just finished weaving many ends in on a granny blanket, so I totally understand - but trust me, it will be so awesome when it is done! The Nativity scene is really cool, too.
ReplyDeleteI love the red hat! I've been wanting to make one of those, they are so cut. My friend's baby has one in a pale green. Those pants are awesome also, they must be really warm...
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute red hat - looks like your little one is unsure about wearing it. You are a busy knitter/crocheter!
ReplyDeleteLove all those projects!
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to knit up a headband for some time. Does the lovely one your knit stay on your head with no slippage?
aaaaagh, those cutie patootie pants are about the cutest thing I ever saw! I need to find an excuse to make those, for SURE!
ReplyDeleteMust take a look at that kid's clothes books. You are busy with the needles!
ReplyDeleteThe TV blanket looks lovely it'll be so cosy to curl up with in an evening. It'll be well worth all the finishing off...

That red bonnet is adorable. If you added a little cape to the back, it'd be the perfect red riding hood cape for a little girl.
