Yarn Along

New wool arrived yesterday!

Just in time too, as I had come to the last of my Brick Red for the cowl. I have knitted 3 feet of stockinette so far, 5 feet to go!! It's good knitting practice for me.

The green is a Classic 5ply in Guava from Bendigo, and it's for my Critron shawl. Everyone on ravelry has expressed how easy this pattern is, however I can't even get past the set up rows without the wrong stitch count!!!

The blue is Luxury 8ply in Lake and the grey is the same in Koala, also from Bendigo. These are for a baby kick bag and beanie that a friend has asked me to make for her baby boy due in September. The luxury is so soft and lovely to hold while working with it....

I have been getting back into reading Hold On To Your Kids, and am making good progress now!

  1. Oh how nice...looks like they're about $11 in US currency for a 200g ball which is a great price! ♥ Have fun knitting!

    1. Yes, It's a much more affordable than buying the smaller balls from the craft store and it's such good quality!
