Yarn Along

I was reminded last week, when a friend had her baby boy, that I had made something for her and had not shared it here. I was waiting til she had recieved it, but then forgot all about it.

A little grey cocoon and hat. I just improvised this, but it is so easy. A giant oversized beanie for the cocoon, with a FPDC/BPDC rib.

I've also been working on knitting techniques, with some help from my friends on youtube! This week I have been practicing triangles :) Here is a little sneak peak at a triangular project, hopefully I will have it finished by next Wednesday to share here.

Due to a quick onset back injury this week, I have been doing lots of reading in bed. I am currently enjoying Plain Wisdom by Cindy Woodsmall and Miriam Flaud.

    1. Me too! Alas, the Mama lives VERY far away from me and I will most likely never see the babe in person. We used to work together years ago and now keep in contact on Facebook!

    1. I have never used one, as I love to swaddle a babe, but this was a special request from the Mama herself! I think they are cute to get some lovely newborn photos in though!
