I watched a great film this week. BOY. Written and directed by Taika Waititi. He also plays the father. A really standout performance by James Rolleston, who plays Boy. Sometimes funny, but I also cried a bit too.
I particularly loved the Maori version of Michael Jacksons Thriller, in the final credits!

I love that movie. and very true to life in Northland .. so bittersweet. I thought the actor who plays Boy's younger brother was also amazing. "sorry sir. I think I made you do that." .. x
