Slowing Down

Well, it's been a little while. That was never my intention, but by golly did we all get sick! In reality, we are still sick, but certainly mending. Thankfully nothing major, just the usual cold season stuff.

I've also moved into the last trimester of pregnancy, which feels great. The daily vomiting has stopped and now I just have bursts of nausea every now and then, usually when it's been a bit long between meals.

There has been lots of knitting, sewing and reading happening, which has been really nice. A true slowing down of our days was what was needed.

The temperature has dropped quite dramatically here in the past 2 weeks, getting down to about 5 degrees overnight. My Mother-in-Law, generously bought us 2 heaters for the children's rooms. It makes the biggest difference to whether they sleep well at night or not. I'm always thankful for better sleep!

Love the baby bump picture! Very cute.

I love reading about what you are doing - opposite seasons make for an interesting read! We are just heading into a heatwave here.
