So, so excited and happy with how my Granny Hottie turned out!
It was just the pop of colour my week needed..
It has been gifted now and my friend was over the moon with it, and im so glad I kept the progress off social media, because she loved that it was a surprise!
You can find a tutorial over at Foxslane.

In other yarny news. I've made good progress on the High Waisted Baby Overalls (Pattern on Ravelry by Abby Belnap).
Tonight I've just begun the ribbing at the chest, so I really hope they'll be finished and ready for their Ta-Dah moment next week!

Reading list looks much the same as last week:
Charlie & the Chocolate Factory (Reading aloud to Roman)
&
The Far Traveller by Nancy Marie Brown
add in:
Heaven on Earth by Sharifa Oppenheimer
- Slow progress on the reading this week though as Caspian has been sick with cold/flu symptoms for the first time ever and has just wanted to be in Mama's arms.

That hot water bottle is just adorable!!
ReplyDeleteLove the knitted overalls - I used to knit longies for my boys when they were babies and I still think knitwear is just the best because of the way a knitted garment is warm but never as bulky on a little one as other fabric can be.
