Yarn Along...

Modified Circus Vest (pattern for purchase on Ravelry) - size 2 for Caspian, using 100% wool but I lost the tags! I'm not sure of the brand...

Newborn Vertabrae Cardigan (free pattern on Ravelry) in Quince & Co Finch Carries Yellow. Adorable pants were a gift.

WIP: Granny Mandala blanket (free crochet pattern on Ravelry) using up all of my Moda Vera Collette. This blanket will be really lovely once it's done. Such a thick squishy yarn in beautiful earthy colours.

Two baby hats finished! Pixie Hat in Bunny Hop (free pattern on Ravelry). O-Wool Classic Worsted in Peacock (blue) and Begonia (pink).

Another WIP: I have around 55 squares left to make for my epic King Size granny square bedspread. I started it before Caspian was born, and I'm determined to be snuggling our new baby underneath it mid-winter!

I have not been reading at all! My hands have been so busy finishing off or working on projects, as well as my attempt to "spring clean" the house in Autumn, because I want to avoid spring cleaning in Spring. My hands will be full come Spring, figuring out the juggle of life with 4 children, I'd like to not have any large house projects to attend to then!

I'm 27 weeks now! While I feel well most of the time, I'm still struggling with nausea in the mornings. I've also got some pelvic instability for the first time which can become quite painful by the day's end. Mostly, it's just been another smooth journey so far!

The big boys are so very excited and sweet Leo, who struggled with the transition when Caspian was born, has turned into a little Mother Hen! Rubbing my belly, talking to the baby all the time and always checking in with me to see how the baby is making me feel.

That's all from me. I hope to pop in later in the week to share some other non yarn crafts that I've been working on or finished.

  8. Oh all your wonderful makings would be so rhythmical and meditative for both you and your growing baby. Yes do a big clear out now because your time and hands will be so full and so much always comes in with a new baby doesn't it. Exciting times xx

  9. We love that book, it really helped my big boy to prepare for his brother's beautiful home birth. We borrowed a copy but will definitely buy a copy if we have another
