Some WIPs that are accumulating around the house!

I absolutely meant to get here last week, because I've got so much happening and want to share it all. But then life feels so good right now and I just forget to pop in!

I'm loving our Autumn weather, sunny blue sky days, temperature drops nicely at night and then so lovely and comfortably warm in the day.

It makes me so motivated for all sorts of things. I've done lots of cleaning in the house, some wall and window washing even!

I've made new duvet covers for the boys beds. And really scaled back their bedroom, in an effort to keep it tidier. I've given up on folding their clothes and have given them a couple of plastic tubs each to be able to put their own clothes away, but be kept neat - it's working well so far!

I've also been finishing off some old old sewing projects. A baby quilt I started when I was pregnant with Caspian, almost done now, just need to pick up some bias binding next week.

I've also delved into the world of charted knitting patterns and with a bit of help from Google, I'm going along swimmingly on the Campside Shawl.

We're looking forward to a long weekend and have a few loose plans. I'm going to convince Kaleb to indulge me on Sunday (Mother's Day) with a Roast Chicken dinner! Usually he works Sunday's, so it will be nice to have him home instead.

Well, I'm going to go back to my spot in the sun, knitting in hand.

Hoping your weekend is enjoyable too!

  1. what a clever idea, the clothes bin! sometimes freedom equals to no-folding (and a roast chicken dinner made for you) :))
    happy mother's day!
