This year has gone so fast, and so slow at the same time. I would be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to moving on from 2016, it's been a tough one. But I feel and hope that it's starting to look up.
We've got some big changes happening in 2017, namely that after 3 years of homeschooling, Roman and Leo will be going off to school. It's been a good to have all this time together and to just slow down their childhood a bit longer, but truth be told, I'm really struggling mentally and physically and I really had to rethink this huge responsibility. Thankfully both the boys are keen to go and that makes me breath a little easier.
I thought it would be fun to do a little monthly post of personal goals and favourite things!
Goals for November:
• 30 day yoga challenge
• Finish knitting Leo's black cardigan
• Sew new shorts for all 4 boys
• Send in school enrolments
• KonMari my way through the hallway cupboards
Favourites:
• Yoga & Meditation playlist on Spotify
• Rain & Storm playlist on Spotify (this has revolutionised my sleep! I fall asleep easily with this going)
• 5 Minute Journal app - I've been recording my daily gratitudes and affirmations
• Organic Candles (from Coles) in the scents French Pear & Cinnamon and Tahitian Lime & Coconut
• @daystooctober on Instagram is a feed I can't get enough of. So much inspiration.
• Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult. I can only read a little bit each night but I never want to put it down.

Well the weather is definitely warming up here. Today was muggy and raining on and off. Summer is my least favourite season and when I'm usually prone to being a bit out of sorts (but I've been out of sorts all year!!), so I'm determined to find the positives and come up with an inspiration list to keep me seeing the good stuff, knowing that Autumn (my favourite!) will come right after.
Birds Of Paradise looking absolutely stunning in my garden.
Atticus has Roman wrapped around his little finger. His own personal Mulberry picker.

We're having homemade pizza for dinner tonight. Roman made the dough by himself in our new Thermomix. Hooray for kitchen gadgets and capable kids.

Just taking a quick peek into your blog again! Its been a while since I have popped by. I so seldom read blogs nowadays and it kind of makes me sad. But you know all about the struggle of finding time with four kids, and finding time for crafting and cooking and well just sitting on the sofa. I was thinking of starting blogging again, but this time only focusing on crafting (aka knitting in my case ;) ) but I feel I already post most of it on IG and on ravelry and don't want to be repetitive. How do you feel about this? Then again, I loved blogging since it allowed me to pause and take more photos and share a little bit more of myself. It is a struggle really :):) P.S.- I love this post, I would like to share things like this as well! But how to balance IG and blogging so we don't post the same on both places?xxx
