Where is your hometown: Jervis Bay, New South Wales

Why are you living on the Gold Coast:

I moved here after living on Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays, as a close friend grew up here and had moved back from the Island also. I did not want to go back to my very small hometown and did not want to live in a big city, so the Gold Coast was a happy medium.

What's your favourite thing about the Gold Coast:

The southern end of the Gold Coast has a real small beach town feel to it, just like my hometown, but then it has the best of both worlds with all you could want in the way of shopping, night life and entertainment.

What's your least favourite thing about the Gold Coast:

It lacks a little culture in some ways...it is getting there slowly, but I think it has long been overshadowed by the image of Surfers Paradise night life and the party lifestyle. There are more events and organisations introducing more arts, music and creative flair and there are many funky cafes and shops opening which is awesome!

What is the climate like on the Gold Coast:

Nice warm Queensland weather, humid in Summer but nowhere near as bad as the Whitsundays!

Is the Gold Coast famous for anything:

Beaches, night clubs and theme parks!!

Are there any community/cultural festivities that happen on the Gold Coast:

Surfers Paradise Festival, Ironman Series, numerous surfing competitions, Kokoda Challenge, Gold Coast Marathon! Always something going on!

What's the most interesting local attraction:

Meter Maids!!

Does the Gold Coast have something BIG:

Hhhhhmmmm BIG Rides!.....Scary
