Where do you live: Calgary, Canada

How long have you lived there: 3 weeks

Is Calgary your hometown: No

Where is your hometown: I am from Nambour on the Sunshine Coast but recently (real recently) moved to Canada for a bit of a change.

Why are you living in Calgary: I thought while I was young and had no responsibilities I would pack up, quit my job and go travelling. I chose Calgary as I have some friends here and thought it would be a great start to my mini adventure. I plan to do more travelling throughout Canada and the U.S.

What's your favourite thing about Calgary: The cold weather, currently a high of -13

What's your least favourite thing about Calgary: The cold, as much as I love it it does restrict some of what you do.

What is the climate like in Calgary: Winters are very cold, and have been told that summer's are nice, will have to wait and see!

Is Calgary famous for anything: Banff and Lake Louise are within an hour drive from here.

Are there any community/cultural festivities that happen in Calgary: Stampede, a big rodeo/fair in the summer that lasts 10 days. I have been told the whole town/province stops for it!

What's the most interesting local attraction: Accent, ice hockey, and the snow on the ground.

Does Calgary have something BIG: Saddledome (big sport centre), it is in the shape of a saddle, Calgary Tower, and of course the Rocky Mountains.
