I have been plugging away at all my usual projects and things are looking good. I have ordered more wool for my red cowl and also some to start the Critron Shawl. A friend with a baby due in September has comissioned me to make a crochet kick bag/cocoon for her baby boy, so the wool is ordered for that too. I cant wait for it all to arrive!!
In the meantime, I have done one small, quick project this week:
Avery the Gnome!
I love all the Waldorf projects that I see popping up around the blogoshpere, so I am trying to convert a few to crochet. I did find a pattern for a crochet gnome, but it was poorly written and I couldn't follow very well. So this one is just made up as I went along. I am now doing another and hoping to write the pattern as I go.
Still not reading anything!! I would love to find my reading mojo again, but I'm really not sure where to start looking!!

Hi there! Just popped over from Ginny's Yarn along! I love the gnome he looks great! Please do write up a pattern!!! I don't know how to knit, but crochet...that I can do. I've always wanted to make a few little gnomes like these, but lack of knitting skills have prevented that. I always sew all of my children's dolls...but I'll keep watching over here to see what you come up with!
ReplyDeleteI'm knitting Citron too! It's like a mini KAL with Karen, isn't it? Cute gnome!
ReplyDeleteI love little gnomes and need to learn to crochet some!
