Yarn Along

It has been a good week for crochet! It is so cold at the moment and I'm spending as much time as possible cosied up on the couch with my hook and wool.

I did a big clean out of my wool basket this morning and decided to frog a few projects that I had lost that loving feeling for. I mean, really they were just clogging up my creative flow so they had to go. Also, we will (hopefully) be moving house in around 6 weeks, so I don't want to be taking piles of unfinished projects to a new house.

I have a few finished projects to share this week:

Birdie Decorations from Attic 24.

Spring Shorts for Leo using THIS pattern and Rustic 8ply from Bendigo Woollen Mill.

Boots using THIS pattern and some leftover Rustic from the shorts.

I'm still reading the same books, so nothing new to share on that front!!

  1. Those little birds and shorts are too cute! Totally relate to just having to get rid of projects that you just do not love any longer! Clears the mind and makes space for so many other fun things ;o)

  2. So freeing to finish or frog those WIPs. I did this last year and felt so good. Now I try to keep them to a minimum. Such cute projects you have.

  3. We're just starting summer here in my neck of the woods and it's super hot. I would give my left arm for some cool weather. :-)

Love the projects you made. Very cute.
