Day 2 :: A Favourite Movie
I've though about this one a bit. I don't get to watch movies much anymore, especially without interruption from the littles.
I really love all sorts of films.
French ones, especially Amelie.
I like any movies by Alfred Hitchcock.
I love movies with dreamy men like Cary Grant or beautiful women like Grace Kelly (have you seen To Catch A Thief? 3 of my favourites in one, Hitchcock, Grant and Kelly)
I do like modern films too. And movies that come from a series, like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.
But I think it really comes down to 2 films. Both classics.
Breakfast at Tiffany's. Capote. Hepburn. Peppard. New York City.
and
Goldfinger. Sean Connery makes my heart flutter even now and he is in his 80's! And I have seen all the Bond movies, but Goldfinger is by far my absolute favourite.
And it has to be said that no one in my family likes to watch either of these two movies with me, as I know them line for line, and annoyingly, I like to talk along with the film!
What's your favourite film?

I ♥ Sean Connery...we recently saw a movie in which he was really young ("Darby O'Gill and the Little People" from 1959) & "The Rock" from 1996, amazing that someone can act for 40 years!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen Darby O'Gill... I will have to see if I can find it!
