Yarn Along

With all the Christmas crafting happening, I haven't had much time for Crochet, but I did finish this lovely cushion cover. Originally I though it would be a lap blanket, but lost focus ;). I think its great and looks good on our black couch!

For the last 2 weeks my internet has been down, making it almost impossible to blog, but it has given me ample time to read and I finished and started 2 books last week.

  1. Love your cushion Shara, I've just had a look at that pattern and put it on my list of things to make, really nice! Plain and Simple looks like an interesting book, i find the Amish way of life fascinating, might have to look that up too! Have a lovely day, Jules :)

  3. What a pretty yellow and black cushion! ♥ We just took a trip to Amish country 2 hours from us, stayed in a log cabin without electricity, used oil lamps to see and an outhouse and wood stove for heat!!!

    1. I am so fascinated by the Amish and their simple living (although I'm sure they have their issues, like any community). The Log cabin sounds delightful. We stayed in something similar for our Honeymoon!
