After all this rain our garden looks rather neglected. Certainly in need of a good weeding. The upside is that everything is flowering and there are bursts of colour amongst the greenery everywhere you look.
All the Roses are flowering.
I've spotted 2 or 3 Ginger flowers.
We have 9 Dwarf Magnolia trees lining our driveway.
Such a shame the blooms only last the day. They are truly spectacular.
A new to us play set. My Dad was housesitting for our local GP over Christmas and saw this all overgrown in his backyard. The Doctor's children are grown now, and so Dad asked if he could pass the set onto us. It was all covered in vines and needed a good scrub, but it is in great condition. Dad added the rope swings, which the boys love!

ReplyDeleteGreat score with the swing set! My garden is full of weeds too. I started in on them today. Yesterday I planted out flower seedlings in the front garden and I have some veggie seedlings waiting for me to finish the weeding. My strawberry and rosella plants are covered in fruit and I am waiting for them to ripen. I picked a beautiful shiny egg plant and there is another one half grown on the plant. And tomato plants are popping up everywhere from where I threw the half eaten fruit last season. :)
