I have made good progress on the Mara Shawl this week. I've done about 75cm across and need to get to around 115cm before the edging starts. I'm really enjoying the repetetive pattern, makes it easy to do while watching TV at night.
Currently, I'm laid up in bed again with an excrutiatingly sore back and terrible sciatic pain in my left leg. Knitting will have to go on hold and might get plenty of reading done instead.
Thank goodness for husbands who can cook! (He's got a roast in the oven as I type this)

ReplyDeleteI love the Little House series - I've read them so many times over the years, not only to myself, but to my now 18 and 16 year old and then again to my 9 and 7 year old and still to come is my youngest. I never tire of reading them!
ReplyDeleteUgh . . . my husband struggles with back and sciatic pain that radiates all the way down into his toes. I know that is so painful. Thank goodness for a husband who puts the roast in the oven!! I looked up "Mara" on Ravelry. Love it!! Thanks for visiting my blog on Yarn Along day : ).
