Even with minimal watering (and still no substantial rain) our garden is doing surprisingly well!
We've picked our first snow peas and cherry tomatoes and this week saw the last of the mulberries.
The gardenias are all in bloom. I think we have about 18 bushes! The smell is divine and permeates through the house when the breeze blows.
Leo is a great garden helper, he is in charge of watering the mint!
Roman is learning much about gardens. This week I had him rake 3 bucketfuls of leaves to use as mulch on the vegetable section. He also found a few different bugs, and a cicada skeleton on the trunk of the mulberry tree. He has a great bug book, that we use frequently to try and identify the different bugs in our garden.

In other exciting news: Caspian rolled over today! This was met my excited applause and cheering from his big brothers. And his Mama of course, because it doesn't matter how many children you have, this stuff never gets old!

as we wind down our gardening season here in the Northeast US, I am looking forward to enjoying your garden pictures! Ah, the joy of the internet where I can live vicariously through someone else! (and I can even get the baby-wants somewhat satisfied!)
