In the Summertime...

Reading Diary of a Wombat by Jackie French...

A family of ducks blocking our driveway, I had to wait some time & when I honked the horn, 2 of the fluffy ducklings just plopped down for a rest!

A very quiet, simple Christmas this year.

A Christmas gift from Mother Nature - beautiful sunflowers...

Cheeky Caspian - 17months old

Leo will be 4 in April and still naps most days, sometimes in the strangest places!

A wonderful geographical puzzle - a gift from Roman's Great Aunt.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. Ours was understated, but the boys still had a fun couple of days. We went swimming and visited my Grandma, who turned 92, on Boxing Day. She was in wonderful spirits, which was great to see. She's had many health issues this year, but is doing much better now.

Kaleb's Aunt and Uncle drove up to see us on the 27th. They don't have any grandchildren (yet!) and love to bring gifts for our boys. Aunt Linda works in Early Childhood Education and always chooses great, age appropriate gifts.

I suppose now is a great time to tell you that our quiet Christmas is a result of me expecting a new baby! We were taken completely by surprise but we're over the moon ❤️

I have been terribly unwell, as with all my other pregnancies, and trying my best to rest, rest, rest. Kaleb had two weeks off of work over Christmas. which was a blessing and I'm now gradually having more good days.

Baby Number Four! is due in July. On Caspian's 2nd birthday actually - Hopefully we'll avoid a double up.

I've even been too unwell to do too much knitting, but I have made a start on a baby blanket.
