Finished!
My Campside Shawl by Alicia Plummer (free on Ravelry)
Wool of the Andes in colour Fedora
This was my first ever charted pattern and once I'd read a few tutorials online, I just dived in and it was much easier than I had thought.
Although, this pattern has errors, so many kind knitters on Ravelry have added amendments to their project pages. I suggest having a good read through them before embarking.
Having said that, it flows really well once you get going and I really enjoyed it.
The shawl is huge and really blocks out well.
I'm working my way through my crochet/knit WIPs and only have 4 left. Hoping to have at least another 2 done before baby's arrival next month, and then finish the other 2 before the end of the year. It will be the first time I've ever begun a new year with a completely clean slate! Fingers crossed x

So lovely. The colour suits you too, so earthy and lovely around the neck and shoulders. Blessings to you and your beautiful baby belly. xx

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I've yet to crochet a shawl, but I have a number of patterns pinned. I need to find just that perfect yarn and color though...Congratulations on your little one! (Hopping by from Yarn Along.)
