Wool of the Andes Heather Firecracker - working on another testknit.

Kniphofia commonly known as Red Hot Poker. In my Mother in Laws garden.

My Dad, with one of his 6 sisters, who was visiting from Victoria. We haven't seen her since Leo was a new baby!

Chilly mornings call for beanies. Rainbows are always a winner at our house!

I won a competition at Foxslane blog! A lovely sample of TONOFWOOL and a screen printed Apple made by Kate.

Nearing 38 weeks now and trying to juggle the need to rest with the desire to get stuff done! I've had some long nights of pre labour, which is exhausting, but ultimately, I know it's all good work that my body is doing, preparing for what's ahead. Baby will be with us soon!

My sister had her baby last Monday. At almost 35 weeks, he is doing well, but still in hospital. Hopefully, he can come home this week as my sister has already been discharged and obviously she's upset about being separated from him. He weighed in at 7lb 2oz (at 35 weeks? I joked that she must have had her dates wrong!) and he's adorable!

The big boys are next door this afternoon, helping our elderly neighbours in the garden. Kaleb and Caspian are out for a walk around our village.

Must get back to the laundry basket. Never ending laundry, but it's the only housework I actually enjoy!

  1. So does that mean your babies were due more or less at the same time? That is exciting and a month or so between isn't much at all. They will be best mates!
Enjoy the last few weeks. Wishing you all the best. cheers Wendy
