Today we celebrated Roman's 4th Birthday. I got up early (well the babe woke me up early) and came downstairs to hang the Birthday Banner and some balloons. When Roman came downstairs I sang ever so loudly and showered him with hugs and kisses. After opening his presents, he requested pancakes with syrup and "MQueen" (the Cars movie).
We went off for a little play at playgroup, where he unfortunately fell over and split his lip open.
Then it was back home to prepare for an afternoon tea party with some family and friends. Presents, party food, and a green Robot cake, made for a fun and exhausting (for me anyway) afternoon! I love birthdays :)

PS. My only regret is that I searched high and low for the Birthday Crown I made and could not find it anywhere. I am fairly certain it will turn up tomorrow....does that happen to anyone else?
